Country Style Ribs With Hoisin Glaze Recipe
Country style pork ribs with a great hoisin glaze. This came from a Pricechopper ad.

Ingredients
  • 4lbs. country style ribs
  • 1/2tsp onion powder
  • 1Tbs liquid smoke
  • Hoisin glaze:
  • 1/2c chili sauce
  • 1/2c hoisin sauce
  • 2Tbs honey
  • 1/8tsp ground red pepper

Directions
  1. Place ribs in rectangular pan. Sprinkle with onion powder;brush with liquid smoke. Add 1/4c water to pan. Cover and bake at 350 for 90 m9ns.
  2. Heat all ingredients for the glaze to boiling in a saucepan. Simmer,uncovered,for 10 mins. Remove ribs from pan;place on heated grill. Cover and grill for10-15 mins,basting with glaze and turning occasionally,until tender . Serve with remaining glaze.

Hello Pleclare!

Short ribs are like a comfort food to me... so any recipe that I see, I take a gander at. I love the way these are put together -- finishing them off on the grill is a nice touch. I'm assuming that the chili sauce in the recipe is the Heinz variety, correct? I do so much Asian cooking that I used tons of chili sauce of different types lol. Either way -- I'm making these :-)
