Camp Fire Banana Boats Recipe
I got this recipe from a 1950's era Swift's Premium recipe book by Martha Logan.

Ingredients
  • 1 Banana per person
  • ...1 tbsp brown sugar or maple syrup, 1 tbsp butter, and 3 curshed vanilla vafers.
  • ...1 tbsp rasins, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp butter.
  • ...1 tbsp semi-sweet chocolate chips, and 1 tbsp mini marshmallows.
  • ...1 tbsp chopped walnuts or peanuts, 3 crushed vanilla waffers, 1 tbsp butter.
  • ...1 tbsp. peanut butter, 1 tbsp, semi-sweet chocolate chips, 2 tbsp. crushed gram crackers.

Directions
  1. Peel a strip of skin back on each banana.
  2. Scoop out some of the fruit.
  3. Fill with one of the above combo's.
  4. Place banana peel back in place.
  5. Wrap each banana in foil.
  6. Heat over hot coals or grill about 20 minutes.
  7. Would be good with ice cream.
  8. Enjoy!
