Italian Chicken Cacciatore

- 2 tablespoons LAND O LAKES® butter shopping list
- 1 (3 to 4-pound) package cut-up broiler-fryer chicken, skinned shopping list
- 2 (14 1/2-ounce) cans Italian-style diced tomatoes shopping list
- 1 (4-ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained shopping list
- 1 medium onion, cut into eighths shopping list
- 1 medium green bell pepper, cut into 1/2-inch pieces shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 1 (9-ounce) package refrigerated fresh fettuccine, cut in half shopping list

- (I really do prefer Land O lakes butter for cooking..just use what you like this is just what I use) shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter in 12-inch skillet until sizzling; add chicken pieces. Cook over medium-high heat, turning once, until browned (10 to 12 minutes).
- Add all remaining ingredients except fettuccine. Cover; continue cooking until chicken is no longer pink (30 to 40 minutes).
- Just before serving, stir in fettuccine. Cover; continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until fettuccine is tender (6 to 9 minutes).
