How to make it

  • For marinade, combine mayonnaise, seasoning and soy sauce.
  • In large, shallow nonaluminum baking dish or plastic bag, pour marinade over chicken.
  • Cover, or close bag, and marinate in refrigerator, turning occasionally, 30 minutes.
  • Remove chicken from marinade, discarding marinade.
  • Grill or broil chicken 12 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked, turning once.

this is an interesting idea. I'd save the mayonnasie marinade for basting thought. the mayo will provide an oily base to keep it moist, will help it stick to the chicken while grilling, and crisp over while grilling. I made some fish marinade with mayon based on someone else suggestion once--and I was very skeptical. It was a good base to grill.
