Barbs Favorite T-Bone Steaks Recipe
I got this from one of my favorite steakhouses. Love the combination of steak and onion rings.

Ingredients
  • STEAKS:
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tsp. cracked black pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 4 (1/2-3/4-in.thick) T-Bone steaks
  • ONION RINGS
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup beer
  • Oill for deep frying
  • 2 small yellow onions, cut into 1/4-in.thuck slices,seperated into rings
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions
  1. In shallow glass baking dish, combine Worcestershire sauce, oil, black pepper and garlic; mix well.
  2. Add steaks; turn to coat.
  3. Cover dish; refrigerate at least 30 minutes to marinate.
  4. In large bowl, combine 1 cup flour and beer; mix with wire whuisk until smooth.
  5. Cover; refrigerate 30 minutes.
  6. Heat grill.
  7. Heat oil in deep fryer or Dutch oven to 375 degrees.
  8. Place remaining 1/4 cup flour in shallow dish.
  9. When ready to fry, coat each onion ring with flour.
  10. Dip each ring in batter, coating entire surface; allow excess batter to drip off into bowl.
  11. Carefully drop each onion ring into hot oil.
  12. Fry in small batches for 2-min., turning once.
  13. With slotted spoon or tongs, remove rings from oil; place on wire rack over paper towels to drain.
  14. While hot, sprinkle with salt.
  15. Repeat with remaining rings.
  16. (If desired, place onion rings on cookie sheet in 200 degree oven to keep warm.)
  17. When ready to grill, remove steaks from marinade; reserve marinade.
  18. Place steaks on gas grill over med. heat or on charcoal grill 4-6-in. from med. coals.
  19. Cook 12-18-min. or until desired doneness, turning and brushing once or twice with marinade.
  20. Discard any emaining marinade.
  21. Serve several onion rings on top of each steak.
