Ingredients

- 2 cups sifted plain flour shopping list
- 2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 1 1/2 tablespoons cold butter shopping list
- 1 egg, beaten shopping list
- 2/3 cup applesauce shopping list
- 1/4 cup sour cream shopping list
- Just enough milk to make a good stiff dough shopping list
- Glaze: shopping list
- 1 cup powerered sugar shopping list
- 3 tablespoons real butter(melted) shopping list
- Tiny amount of sweet milk (if needed) it should be a rather thick glaze) shopping list

How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add the sugars and mix.
- Cut in the butter.
- Combine the egg, applesauce and sour cream; mix quickly with the dry ingredients.
- (do NOT over work the dough)
- Use just enough milk to make a nice stiff but soft dough.
- Turn out onto a floured surface; knead lightly then roll out dough to 1/2−inch thickness.
- Spray the baking sheet real well with non-stick spray.
- Cut into 2−inch rounds and arrange on baking sheet.
- Bake 15 minutes, or until golden brown.

- Glaze: Mix powered sugar, butter, and if needed a tiny amount of sweet milk.
- Mix very well
- Put in microwave and allow it to just come to a bowl.
- Stir really well. (it should be a rather thick glaze)
- Stir often and do not let it run over!
- Spoon over biscuit/buns!
- When cooled this will be a delightful solid glaze over the biscuit-bun!
- Wrap or store in a very large closed container.
