Best Tuna Melt New Jersey Diner Style

- 2 (6 ounce) cans solid white tuna in water, drained shopping list
- 1/4 cup good mayonaisse shopping list
- 1/4 cup finely chopped celery shopping list
- 1 1/2 tablespoons finely chopped onion shopping list
- 1 tablespoon chopped italian parsly shopping list
- 1 teaspoon red wine vinegar shopping list
- 1 pinch salt shopping list
- 1 pinch fresh ground black pepper shopping list
- 4 slices seedlss rye bread shopping list
- 8 slices ripe tomato shopping list
- 8 slices swiss cheese shopping list
- paprika for garnish shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven broiler
- In a bowl, mix the tuna, mayo, celery, onion, parsley, and vinegar.
- Season to taste with salt.
- Divide and spread evenly onto the for slices of bread
- Top each with one slice of cheese, then the tomato, then the last slice of cheese.
- Broil until cheese is melted and gooey.
