Glorified Minute Rice Recipe

Ingredients

2/3 c.Minute rice

1/2 tsp. salt

2/3 c. water

1 sm. can pineapple juice (not drained)

1 c. diced marshmallows

6 diced maraschino cherries

2 c. whipped cream

1/3 c. chopped nuts

Directions

Combine: rice,water,pineapple juice and salt in sauce pan.

Mix (just to moisten all rice)

Bring quickly to a boil over high heat

Cover and simmer 5 min.s

Remove from heat

let stand 5 min.s

Add: marshmallows,cherries,pineapple and nuts

Cool to room temperature

Fold in whipped cream

Chill for 1 hour

ENJOY!
