Ingredients
  • 3 lbs. frying chicken (rinse each piece well under cold water)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. log cabin syrup

Directions
  1. Dip each piece in log cabin syrup
  2. coat each piece with flour
  3. sprinkle with remaining flour (set aside for 15 min.s)
  4. in a large skillet heat to hot, 1/2 inch shortening ( 1/2 oil 1/2 butter)
  5. fry a few pieces at a time until all the chicken is tender and golden brown
  6. Enjoy! :)
