Ingredients

3 lbs. frying chicken (rinse each piece well under cold water)

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1 c. log cabin syrup

Directions

Dip each piece in log cabin syrup

coat each piece with flour

sprinkle with remaining flour (set aside for 15 min.s)

in a large skillet heat to hot, 1/2 inch shortening ( 1/2 oil 1/2 butter)

fry a few pieces at a time until all the chicken is tender and golden brown
