How to make it

  • melt butter in skillet and quickly cook mushrooms in batches over high heat
  • transfer mushrooms to a bowl when finished cooking
  • add the wine to the pan with the mushroom juices bring to a boil
  • reduce heat ... replace the mushrooms with any juice in the bowl
  • stir well and heat for a seconds ..then remove from the heat
  • stir in sour cream and season to taste with salt and pepper
  • if necessary gently heat through
  • serve immediately
  • ..............................................
  • can be served with rice, meat or on thick slices of toast
