Ingredients

2 cups dried lentils

1 tbs. salt

2 tbs. corn or olive oil

1-8 oz. can tomatoe sauce

1 small clove chopped garlic

Directions

Place lentils in a strainer rinse before cooking. Place lentils and salt into 2 1/2 Quarts of water in a pan bring to a boil Boil 45 minutes to 1 hour Stir ocassionally. Place oil tomatoe sauce garlic in small frying pan heat throughly simmer 20 minutes. set aside

add tomatoe sauce to cooked lentils simmer 10 minutes. Serve hot with French Bread and green salad makes 4 servings
