Date Pecan Frosting

I made a mistake in the title of the recipe and it is now correct...sorry....This frosting can be used on the chocolate pecan cake recipe already posted... it will cover a 3 layer 9-inch cake between the layers and the top and sides. Ingredients
- 3 cups sugar shopping list
- 1 can ( 14-ounces ) condensed sweetened milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup hot water shopping list
- 2 cups finely chopped dates ( about a pound ) shopping list
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans shopping list
How to make it
- In medium saucepan ... combine sugar, milk, and water
- bring to a boil over medium-high heat..
- reduce heat to medium and cook for 5 -8 minutes, stirring constantly until frosting thickens
- stir in dates and pecans.
- let cool some
- ...........................................................
- this will cover a 3 layer cake top sides and in between the layers.

I just realized there is chocolate in the title but not in the recipe. Is there supposed to be any?
