- 6 8oz New York steaks shopping list
- 2 T. pepper (coarsley ground) shopping list
- 6 tsp. butter shopping list
- 5 drops Tabasco sauce shopping list
- 1 tsp. worchestershire sauce shopping list
- 2 tsp. lemon juice shopping list
- 3 T. cognac shopping list
- chopped parsley shopping list
How to make it
- Sprinkle steaks on both sides with pepper
- Work into meat with heel of hand
- Let stand 30 minutes
- (Lightly) salt bottom of a heavy skillet
- Cover, heat on high on (well hooded stove) until salt slightly browns
- Put steaks on ( sear first side 30 seconds on high heat)
- Turn steaks over ( hood of stove exhaust must be turned on)
- Reduce heat to medium
- cook one minute ( this is for rare) cook longer if you desire steak more done
- place 1 tsp. of butter on each steak, allow to melt
- Combine: Lemon juice, Tobasco,Worchestershire, over meat
- Turn heat to Low ( Blaze Steaks with Cognac)
- Remove Steaks to Platter
- After Swirling Sauce in skillet
- Pour over Steaks
- Sprinkle with Parsley
- Enjoy
