Cherry Brandy Sauce

This is a sweet sauce that goes well with a lot of dishes. Cakes, Pancakes, Waffles and can be made thicker to be used as a glaze. Of course my favorite is always Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 2 cups raspberries put through fine sieve. shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 3 Tbsp cherry brandy shopping list
How to make it
- Rub raspberries through fine sieve
- Boil together sugar and water, and simmer gently for 5 minutes
- Combine sieved berries with syrup and flavor with Cherry Brandy

- Cherries, Strawberries, Gooseberries, white and red Currents, Oranges, and other fruits may be prepared in the same manner. Flavor the cherry and strawberry sauces with Kirsch, the orange with Curacao, the berries and currants with Cointreau.
