Spicy Three Pepper Hummus

- 2 (16oz) cans garbanzo beans, drained shopping list
- 2 Tbs. olive oil shopping list
- 1/8 cup lemon juice shopping list
- 2 Tbs. tahini shopping list
- 8 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 2 sliced jalapeno can pepper, chopped shopping list
- 1 tsp of the canned jalapeno juice shopping list
- ½ tps ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 to 1 ½ teaspoons cayenne pepper (depending on how spicy you like) shopping list
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin shopping list
- ¾ teaspoon dried oregano shopping list
How to make it
- In the bowl of a standard mixer, combine the garbanzo beans, olive oil, lemon juice, Tahini, garlic, jalapeno, and juice from canned jalapeno. Season with black pepper, cayenne, cumin and oregano.
- Mix using the whisk attachment on low speed until the ingredients start to blend, then turn the speed to medium and blend to your desired consistency. Cover and refrigerate overnight to allow the flavors to blend. Make sure you container is sealed tight.
