I think that perhaps we may be restrictive in our limitation to Haiku - perhaps this will encourage others to open up their hearts to other forms of poetry in the kitchen. Haiku is wonderful but so is verse.

Food is very personal. How one chooses to illustrate it is as up to them as we readers are to interpret it. This is quite nice. I've never been to Paris and never had a dish like this but I must admit it brought out a specific street corner from the far reaches of my memory.
