Sharons Green Burritos Recipe

Sharons Green Burritos Recipe
I was drinking with Sharon when she made these and gave me the recipe.. THEY ARE NOT GREEN. They taste great with all the fixins. I have even made them when I was sober and they are still good.

Ingredients
  • 4 lbs pork butt roast- or country style ribs
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cumin
  • 32 oz, chicken broth
  • 2 15 oz cans diced tomatos
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 4 oz. can chopped jalepenos
  • 2 4 oz. cans chopped green chilis

Directions
  1. Brown the roast or robs in the oil.
  2. Remove meat from pan.
  3. Put the rest of the ingredients in the pan and bring to a boil.
  4. Add the browned meat to the pan and simmer on low heat for 1 1/2 hours. Do not boil.Keep an eye on this especially if you are drinking.
  5. Mix 1/4 cup corn starch with 3/4 cup water and add to pan at the end to thicken.
  6. Serve on torillas with cheese , olives, onions, sour cream, or whatever trips you trigger.
  7. Go to bed.
  8. This makes lots of sauce. You could add cooked chicken to the left over sauce and then have chicken burritos.

Tell Sharon that this looks amazing. Will try!

Sober or downing some margaritas, this has got to be fantastic (and it would absorb the alcohol anyway, so why worry?)...this should satisfy my Mexican food crave!
