Butterscotch Applesauce Cake

- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened shopping list
- 1 cup packed brown sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 cup applesauce shopping list
- 2 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon shopping list
- 1 cup raisins shopping list
- 2 cups (12 ounces) butterscotch chips shopping list
- 1/3 cup sugar shopping list
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans shopping list
How to make it
- In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar.
- Add eggs and applesauce; mix well.
- Combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; add to creamed mixture.
- Stir in raisins.
- Spread in a greased 13-in.X9-in.x2-in. baking pan.
- Sprinkle with chips, sugar and pecans.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
- Yield: 12-15 servings.
