Prosciutto and Asparagus Pasta

- 1/2 lb. fresh asparagus spears, cleaned and cut into bite size pieces shopping list
- 4 oz. prosciutto ham, thinly sliced and cut into 1" strips shopping list
- 3/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1/2 cup sourcream shopping list
- 1/4 cup dry white wine shopping list
- 1/4 cup melted butter shopping list
- 1/2 lb. linguini pasta shopping list
- salt and pepper, to taste shopping list
How to make it
- In a large saucepan, steam asparagus until crisp-tender. Add prosciutto and warm with the asparagus. In a medium bowl mix together cheese, sour cream, wine, and butter; mixing well. Pour into the saucepan with asparagus and prosciutto. Warm the sauce until the cheese melts. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain but do not rinse. Transfer pasta to a warm serving platter and toss with the sauce. Sprinkle with additional Parmesan and serve immediately.
