Grilled chocolate sandwiches

A sweet rendition of a grilled cheese sandwich
Ingredients
- 2 large eggs shopping list
- 2 tbsp milk shopping list
- 8 lg pieces of challah or Italian bread shopping list
- 4 oz. thin semisweet chocolate bar shopping list
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter shopping list
- powdered sugar for dusting shopping list
How to make it
- In a large shallow dish, whisk together eggs and milk, set aside.
- form 4 sandwiches with the bread and chocolate ( break chocolate to cover the bread without going over the edges.
- Dip both sides of the sandwiches in egg mixture to coat.
- Heat butter in a lg. skillet over med heat and put sandwiches in skillet.
- cook, pressing occasionally with a spatula, until golden brown 1 to 2 minutes per side. transfer to a paper towel and dust with the powdered sugar.
