Steak And Mushroom Sauce

                    - steak shopping list
- 4 of your choice (best cut is undercut) shopping list
- 3 oz butter shopping list
- SAUCE shopping list
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced shopping list
- 1/2 tspn worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 3 tblspns tomato paste shopping list
- 1/2 cup dry red wine shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 1/4 cup cream shopping list
How to make it 
                    - STEAKS
- Cook steaks in butter to your liking (medium rare is great), reserve butter
- Remove to rest in a warm oven (150°C) while preparing sauce
- SAUCE
- Add sliced mushrooms to reserved butter
- Saute for 2 minutes
- Add wine, worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and tomato paste
- Bring to boil and boil uncovered for 3 minutes
- Add cream
- Stir until combined
- Simmer gently for 2 minutes
- TO SERVE
- Remove steaks from oven and place onto a warm dinner plate
- Spoon the mushroom sauce over the steaks
- SIDES
- Char grilled asparagus and spring onions with shaved parmesan
- Baked potatoes with sour cream/natural yoghurt and snipped chives/garlic chives
- The rest of the bottle of red!

                		I was unsure about this sauce but it was Fantastic! I added a half teaspoon of sugar, and also a teaspoon of sun dried tomato paste and i also added slightly more cream but reduced it down. Really a wonderful sauce and i will make double next time!  Purebull
