Easy Home Made Pasta Dough

- Two egg pasta Dough , one of many kinds I make, and some without egg also shopping list
- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 1/4 tsp baking powder ( optional ) add a touch of lightness to dough shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 Tbs olive oil shopping list
- 2 to 4 Tbs water or as needed shopping list
How to make it
- HAND MIXED METHOD
- Combine flour( all purpose or semolina ) and (salt)
- Make a well in center of flour
- Add oil if indicated
- Break in egg (s )- all eggs grade A large
- Mix in eggs and oil with fork
- Add room temperature or warm water gradually
- mix with fork to hold dough together or until it clings together
- Knead with hands on floured surface until a smooth and pliable consistency is achieved
- Cover with inverted warm bowl, damp cloth or wrap in plastic wrap
- Let rest room temperature 20 to 30 minutes
- Divide the dough into manageable working sections ( cut dough into 4 to 6 equal pieces )
- Roll, cut and let air dry a few minutes prior to cooking or let dry completely,
- Store and cook at a later date
- OR
- FOOD PROCESSOR METHOD
- Use steel blade
- Place in eggs, oil, then flour
- Process only seconds or until a cornmeal consistency
- Add water and pulse only until dough leaves sides of bowl
- Follow remaining procedure as above to prepare and relax dough
