Easy Lasagna Recipe
The lasagna doesn't need to be cooked beforehand in this recipe. It is quick and easy and makes a wonderful dish any night of the week.

  • 1 32 oz. jar tomato sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, pressed
  • 1/2 cup dry red wine
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups (15 ounces) partskim ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 lb. grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 tsp. freshly ground nutmeg
  • 1 lb. uncooked lasagna

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. In a large bowl combine tomato sauce, garlic, wine, water, & oregano
  3. In a medium bowl beat the eggs together, then beat in the ricotta and parmesan cheeses,and the nutmeg
  4. Pour a geneous amount of sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish
  5. (remember the lasagna needs room to swell during the cooking)
  6. Alternate the lasagna, sauce, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella. Make approx. 3 layers, ending with the mozzarella.
  7. Cover pan tightly with foil and bake for 1 hour
  8. Remove foil and continue baking for 15 minutes until sauce has thickened and the noodles are tender
  9. let sit 10 minutes before cutting.

Made this for my sister and her family when I visited them in Washington state. They asked for the recipe, it is great.
