Colorful Crab Appetizer Pizza Recipe
COLORFUL CRAB APPETIZER PIZZA This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Brady Estate in Fate, Texas in 1992.

Ingredients
  • 8 ounce tube refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1-1/2 cups fresh spinach divided and coarsely chopped
  • 1 green onion thinly sliced
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons fresh dill weed minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon peel divided and grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1-1/4 cups imitation crabmeat chopped
  • 1/4 cup ripe olives chopped

Directions
  1. Unroll crescent roll dough and place on ungreased pizza pan.
  2. Flatten dough sealing seams and perforations.
  3. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes or until lightly browned then cool completely.
  4. In small mixing bowl beat cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Stir in 1 cup spinach, onion, dill, 1/2 teaspoon lemon peel, lemon juice and pepper.
  6. Spread over crust then top with crab, olives, remaining spinach and lemon peel.
  7. Cut into bite size squares.
