How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  • Set Pie Crust aside.
  • Separate mushroom stems from caps. Slice caps and put aside.
  • Chop stems
  • Melt 3 Tbsp butter in a skillet and saute the mushroom stems, garlic, onions, cabbage, broccoli/cauliflower,turnip until crisp.
  • Stir in Caraway Seeds, ,basil, and dill
  • Remove from heat.
  • Sprinkle vegetables with the flour, mix well, then add vinegar and toss again
  • Beat the eggs, then work in the cottage cheese and cream cheese.
  • Stir in the vegetables.
  • Melt the remaining butter in a skillet and saute the mushroom caps
  • Spread the vegetable-cheese mixture in the pie shell.
  • Top with the mushroom caps, then bake 35 to 40 minutes or until brown.
  • Serve hot!
