BLUE RIBBON SUGAR COOKIE

- 1 c. sugar shopping list
- 4 1/2 c. sifted flour shopping list
- 1 c. xxx powder sugar (without cornstarch) shopping list
- 1 c. margarine shopping list
- 1 c. Wesson salad oil shopping list
- 2 extra large eggs shopping list
- 1 t. cream of tartar shopping list
- 1 t. soda shopping list
- 1 t. vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- Mix first 4 ingredients. Add eggs and mix. Add vanilla. Sift flour, cream of tartar and soda. Add and mix. Dough will be very soft. Roll into balls the size of walnuts and roll in sugar. Place on greased sheet and flatten to a thickness of 1/8" with a glass, the bottom of which has been greased and dipped in sugar. Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes till slightly browned on edges. ( For crisper cookies bake longer.)
