How to make it

  • Stir together first 3 ingredients: pour into a lightly greased 9x5 loaf pan
  • Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Pour melted butter over the top and bake 10 minutes more.
  • Cheddar-Chive Beer Bread: Add 3/4 cup grated cheese and 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives to mix.

    wow - such an easy recipe. Does the beer work better at room temperature? Just make sure it's not a "leftover from the night before" beer!
