The Biltmores Bread Pudding

                    - 8 cups cubed day old bread shopping list
 - 9 eggs shopping list
 - 2-1/4 cup milk shopping list
 - 1-3/4 cups heavy whipping cream shopping list
 - 1 cup sugar shopping list
 - 3/4 cup butter, melted shopping list
 - 3 tsp. vanilla extract shopping list
 - 1-1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon shopping list
 - CARAMEL SAUCE: shopping list
 - 1 cup sugar shopping list
 - 1/4 cup water shopping list
 - 1 Tbsp. lemon juice shopping list
 - 2 Tbsp. butter shopping list
 - 1 cup heavy whipping cream shopping list
 - I cup golden raisins (optional) shopping list
 - 2 cups pecan halves Garnish for top (optional) shopping list
 - Dollop of whipped cream for each serving (optional) shopping list
 
How to make it 
                    - Preheat oven to 350*F.
 - Place bread cubes in a greased 13x9x2" baking dish.
 - In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, cream, butter, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon.
 - Pour evenly over the bread.
 - Bake uncovered for 40 to 45 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
 - Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting.
 - Meanwhile in a small saucepan bring sugar, water and lemon juice to a boil.
 - Reduce heat to medium.
 - Cook until sugar is dissolved and mixture turns a golden amber color.
 - Stir in butter until melted.
 - Add cream.
 - Remove from the heat.
 - Serve with bread pudding.
