Indonesian Ginger Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup honey
  • 3/4 cup Bragg Liquid Aminos or Soy Sauce (Braggs has less sodium)
  • 6 to 8 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup peeled and grated fresh ginger root
  • 2 - (3 1/2 Pound) chickens quartered with backs removed

Directions
  1. Cook in sauce pan, honey, Braggs or soy sauce, garlic, and ginger over low heat until honey is liquidfied.
  2. Arrange chicken in a shallow pan and place skin down, one layer, then pour sauce over chicken.
  3. Cover and let marinate overnight in the refrigerator.
  4. Preheat oven to 350 "F" degrees
  5. Place pan in oven and bake for 30 minutes covered.
  6. Uncover pan, rotate chicken (skin side up) and bring the temp up to 400 degrees "F". Cook another 25 to 30 minutes or until juices run clear.
  7. The sauce should be brown and thick.
