Ingredients
  • 6 Venison cube steaks {cut in half}
  • 1/2 stick real butter
  • 1 large Vidalia Onion {sliced & chopped}
  • 1 Large Green Bell Pepper {sliced & Chopped}
  • 1 can of Campbell's Golden Mushroom soup
  • 2 Tablespoons Steak Seasoning
  • 1/8 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup boiling water
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • salt & pepper to taste {if needed}

Directions
  1. On the stove, warm up a large skillet with 1/2 stick butter {non-stick skillet, if you got one} over medium-low heat. As butter is melting slowly in skillet {be careful not to burn butter}.
  2. Prepare meat, sprinkle both sides of cubed steak with Steak Seasoning {any Brand}. Rub steak seasoning in a little on both sides of meat, and set steaks in a glass bowl.
  3. Dissolve one beef bouillon cube in boiling water, add Worcestershire sauce, and mix well.
  4. Then pour bouillon cube & worcestershire sauce mixture over meat in bowl, rotating steaks around every so often to make sure the mixture gets on all of the steaks.
  5. Meanwhile, once butter has melted, add sliced & chopped Onion & Pepper and cook over medium heat until onion & pepper is soft and brown on the edges.
  6. Using a pair of tongs, or a straining spoon remove onion / pepper mixture out of skillet and set aside in bowl or on a plate.
  7. Now, add the cube steak to the remaining butter in skillet and brown on both sides, about 2-1/2 minutes on each side.
  8. Now slowly pour the remaining worcestershire / bouillon mixture over steaks in skillet, that was left in the bowl.
  9. Add the can of soup {no water} to the steaks in the skillet and stir well, turning steaks until soup is dissolved all the way to a smooth texture.
  10. Bring soup mixture & steaks to a boil.
  11. Add the Onion / Pepper mixture to skillet, folding and stirring well, turning steaks, and bring to another boil.
  12. Then cut on low and simmer until liquid thickens, about 2 or 5 minutes, makes a great gravy.
  13. Now, Cut off the heat, it it done, you can serve it over rice, or egg noodles, with mashed potatoes. and any vegetable, it is good!
