Chicken Chili Verde

- 3 lbs boneless,skinless,chicken breasts, cut into peices shopping list
- 2/3 cup all purpose flour shopping list
- a little olive oil or canola oil for frying shopping list
- 1 red onion large chopped big shopping list
- 3 garlic cloves, beat with aknife blade shopping list
- 2 serano chilies optional but you must yes you do do it!! shopping list
- 5 poblanos medium coursley chopped shopping list
- 2 cup chicken broth shopping list
- 15 tomatillos medium husked an quartered shopping list
- 3 tbl oregano shopping list
- 1 tbl ancho chili powderr shopping list
- 1 1/2 tbl ground cummin shopping list
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika shopping list
- 1 cup cilantros chopped course shopping list
- green onions chopped including stems shopping list
- sour cream cheese and tortilla chips shopping list
How to make it
- Wash and pat dry the chicken. be carefull of the cooking surface.
- wash all completly. or the chicken /salmilnilla police will get you
- dredge in flour,shake off excess--salt an pepper
- into a large skillet-med heat-1/4 inch oil
- saute both sides till brown--golden brown repeat till all chicken is done
- put in a large roasting pan- with a tight lid
- use same skillet-heat a little more oil med high heat-add onion,garlic saute soft. add to roaster pan
- little more oil- add peppers saute till soft
- add to roaster pan
- add all the rest- except cilantros,onions
- bring to boil -turn down reduce to a simmer
- simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours until thickens
- stir cilantro into mixture
- transfer to a large serving bowl
- top with green onions chopped
- sour cream cheese and tortilla chips on the side
- note::try with beef an pork mixed or just pork-cook a little longer till really tender
