Ingredients

How to make it

  • Dry-fry the almonds for a couple of minutes shaking the pan continuously, so that the almonds don't burn.
  • Add the butter and coat the almonds, still in the pan.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Lightly fry until slightly golden.
  • Scatter them onto paper towel and sprinkle with more salt and pepper.
  • Serve cold.
  • They go extremely well with a cold beer or a nice glass of Port (what else?)

These sound savory and delicious, I'll be making some very soon... (I normally roast almonds plain in the oven, so this sounds like a great way to make them without turning on the oven - especially during hot months!)
