Nutty Pineapple Banana Cake Recipe
NUTTY BANANA PINEAPPLE CAKE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Daly Estate in Fort Worth, Texas in 1992.

Ingredients
  • 3 sticks butter
  • 20 ounce can crushed pineapple drained
  • 12 ounces frozen whipped topping thawed
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 small jar maraschino cherries chopped
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 5 bananas

Directions
  1. Combine 1 stick melted butter and graham cracker crumbs.
  2. Press into bottom of rectangular pan.
  3. Combine powdered sugar, eggs and 2 sticks butter.
  4. Beat with mixer on high for 15 minutes then pour over crust.
  5. Slice bananas and cover powdered sugar mixture.
  6. Sprinkle crushed pineapple over bananas then top with whipped topping.
  7. Sprinkle with nuts and cherries then chill.
