How to make it

  • Grease a deep 20 cm-round cake pan.
  • Line base and side with baking paper.
  • Combine butter, chocolate, sugar and milk in medium saucepan.
  • Stir over low heat, WITHOUT BOILING, until smooth.
  • transfer mixture to a large bowl.
  • Cool 15 minutes.
  • Pre-heat oven to mederately slow.
  • Whisk flower into mixture, together with vanilla and eggs.
  • Pour mixture into prepared pan.
  • Cover pan with foil.
  • Bake for 45 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake further 15 minutes.
  • Stand cake in pan for 30 minutes.
  • Turn onto wire rack to cool.
  • Spread top and side of cold cake with white chocolate ganache.

  • White chocolate ganache:
  • Bring cream to a boil in small saucepan. Pour over chocolate in small bowl, stirring until chocolate melts.
  • Cover.
  • Refrigetate, stitting occasionally, about 30 minutes or until speadable.

    This cake is growing as one of the most requested wedding cake flavors! Most hadn't heard of it, but when they do---whoo! Lovely flavor and moist, dense consistency! Great post!--Kn0x--
