Clear jel can be purchased at bulk food stores. It makes the filling smoother than cornstarch.

Ingredients
- 3 cups water
- 2 cups sugar
- 2/3 cups Clear Jel
- 1 small box blackberry jello
- 2 T lemon juice
- 4 cups frozen blueberries
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup oats
- 1 cup flour
- 1 stick butter
- 2 unbaked pie shells
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix water, granulated sugar, and clear jel in a heavy medium saucepan. Cook until thickened. Remove from heat. Add jello and lemon juice. Cool.
- Stir berries into sugar mixture. Divide between pie shells.
- Mix brown sugar, oats, flour, and butter until crumbly.
- Sprinkle over pies.
- Bake until golden brown.
- Per serving: 388 calories; 3 g protein; 70 g carbs; 2 g fiber; 11 g fat (5 g sat.); 15 mg cholesterol; 139 mg sodium
