Spicy Pototo Fritters- Bonda

- Serves 4
Potato Bondas make a wounderful evening snack.They are supposed to be spicy.....served as it is.... instead of potatoes we can even use,hardboiled eggs,tapioca.........
Ingredients
- 2 potatoes(cooked&smashed) shopping list
- 2 c besan flour shopping list
- 1 onion-finnely chopped shopping list
- 2 green chillies shopping list
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp meat powder(red colour) shopping list
- pinch of baking powder shopping list
- pinch of hing(optional) shopping list
- curry leaf shopping list
- oil to deep fry shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Boil the potatoes&mash it well
- In a pan,add oil,fry the onions,green chillies,turmeric,chilly,meat powders fry well
- Add the mashed potatoes and mix well
- ...................................Dipping Batter..................................
- Add chilli powder,turmeric powder,baking powder,hing to the besan flr mix well
- Add salt&water bit by bit &make a thick consistency batter.
- Make a small balls out of potato mixture&dip each ball in the batter
- And fry till golden brown
- serve with ketchup....
