How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Prepare 8 or 9 inch baking pan by spraying with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt butter and chocolate.
  • Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • In a small mixing bowl, beat eggs, granulated sugar, and vanilla.
  • Combine flour and baking soda in separate small bowl.
  • Add to the chocolate mixture.
  • Spread evenly into prepared pan.
  • Bake in preheated 350-degree oven for approximately 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
  • (Do not overbake)
  • Cool completely.
  • FOR FILLING:
  • Combine 1 tablespoon liquid whipping cream and coffee granules in a small bowl.
  • Stir until coffee is completely dissolved.
  • In small mixing bowl, beat butter and confectioner's sugar with an electric mixer.
  • Add coffee mixture and beat again until smooth and creamy.
  • Spread over cooled brownies.
  • FOR GLAZE:
  • In a small saucepan, combine the chocolate chips and heavy whipping cream.
  • Cook and stir over low heat until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is thickened.
  • Cool slightly.
  • Carefully spread glaze over filling.
  • Let stand for 30 minutes or until glaze is set.
  • Cut into squares.
  • Store in refrigerator.
