American Buffalo Wings With Bleu Cheese Dip Recipe
AMERICAN BUFFALO WINGS WITH BLEU CHEESE DIP This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Hartman Estate in Arlington, Texas in 1984.

Ingredients
  • 24 chicken wings disjointed
  • 1 stick butter melted
  • 8 tablespoons hot pepper sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • Dip:
  • 6 ounce package cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 4 ounces bleu cheese crumbled

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 .
  2. Place wings in baking pan.
  3. In mixing bowl combine remaining ingredients then coat wings on both sides.
  4. Bake 45 minutes basting frequently.
  5. Just before serving pour remaining sauce over wings and broil 1 minute.
  6. In bowl of a food processor combine all dip ingredients except bleu cheese.
  7. Process until creamy then add bleu cheese but do not process to keep dip chunky.
  8. Spoon into a bowl and refrigerate until ready to use.
