How to make it

  • Mix cake mix as directed on the box.
  • Add ¼ cup of the creme de menthe and blend well.
  • Bake as directed.
  • Cool.
  • Spread fudge topping on top of cooled cake.
  • Mix Cool Whip with the other ¼ cup creme de menthe.
  • Mix well.
  • Spread over fudge topping and refrigerate.
  • Note: I use the creme deMenthe liquor, but you can use the one that you buy in the grocery store that is nonalcoholic and I think sold with ice cream toppings. The alcohol cooks out, but some say not completely, so use your own judgement.
