How to make it

  • Mix the flour, brown sugar, and ½ cup butter.
  • Pat into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
  • Melt together, but do not boil, peanut butter chips, syrup, 2 tablespoons butter, and water.
  • Pour over crust.
  • Sprinkle mixed nuts over filling.
  • Bake until bubbly all over, not just the edges, approximately 15 minutes.
  • Don’t overbake.
