Fancy Mixed Nut Bars

The first time I tasted these bars, I absolutely had to have the recipe. Using the fancy mixed nuts, these bars are pretty enough for a Christmas cookie plate or a wedding reception. Would go good at a picnic or Superbowl party also!
Ingredients
- 1½ c. flour shopping list
- ¾ c. brown sugar shopping list
- ½ c. butter shopping list
- 6 oz. peanut butter chips shopping list
- ½ c. white syrup shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. butter shopping list
- 1 Tbsp. water shopping list
- 1 (12-oz.) can fancy mixed nuts shopping list
How to make it
- Mix the flour, brown sugar, and ½ cup butter.
- Pat into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
- Melt together, but do not boil, peanut butter chips, syrup, 2 tablespoons butter, and water.
- Pour over crust.
- Sprinkle mixed nuts over filling.
- Bake until bubbly all over, not just the edges, approximately 15 minutes.
- Don’t overbake.
