- Ingredients For the Marination: shopping list
- 1 medium size chicken shopping list
- 1 tsp. ginger paste shopping list
- 1 tsp. garlic paste shopping list
- 1 tsp. chili paste shopping list
- 2 tbsp. soya sauce shopping list
- 2 tbsp. cornflour shopping list
- 1 no. egg shopping list
- salt according To taste shopping list
- oil for deep frying shopping list
- For the Sauce : shopping list
- 3 tbsp. oil shopping list
- 1 tsp. Finely chopped ginger shopping list
- 1 tbsp. Finely chopped garlic shopping list
- 2 nos. Dry red chilies cut into 4 pieces each shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. sesame seeds(optional) 1/4 cup. Chopped pieces of spring onion shopping list
- 1/2 cup chicken stock shopping list
- 1/3 cup tomato sauce shopping list
- 1 tbsp. soya sauce shopping list
- 1 tsp. chili sauce shopping list
- 1 tbsp. vinegar shopping list
- 1 tsp. sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper shopping list
- salt According To taste shopping list
- 3/4 tbsp. cornflour mixed with 1/4 cup water For the Garnish 4 long thin pieces spring onions shopping list
How to make it
- Method For the Marination:
- 1. Cut the chicken into small serving sized pieces.
- 2. Combine all the ingredients needed for the Marinade and rub on the chicken pieces and set aside for 30 minutes.
- 3. Heat oil in a frying pan and deep fry the chicken pieces, until golden brown and cooked. Drain and set aside.
- For the Sauce :
- 1. Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Add the ginger, garlic, red chilies, sesame seeds and spring onion and stir fry on a high flame for 1 minute.
- 2. Add the remaining ingredients except the cornflour and bring it to a boil and add the chicken.
- 3. Cook on a low flame for about 6 -7 minutes and then add the cornflour mixed with water and stir continuously, so that the sauce becomes thick.
- 4. Garnish with the spring onion .
