What a wonderful recipe and a tribute to your grandmother. I love the term "ice box" too and have heard it many times in my life. It was one of my mother's favorite terms. I have a Snowball Cake recipe that I am going to post with the same tribute in mind only to my Mother. Thanks for sharing the recipe with us.

"If But To Turn Back Time"

    You have a gentle heart..

In the Reminiscence of your Grandmother and her pie, makes her live on.

That is a honorable salute to her.

Thank-you for the privilege of your treasured recipe.

(Ice Box caught my eye)I still use that phrase.

Hope you and your family have a good week-end.

    Kind Regards
