Pastelitos De Boda Brides Cookies

To fill the cookie jar. The recipe is written like this Pastelitos De Boda and under that it has (Bride's Cookies)

Mix the flour, sugar, salt, and nuts together.
Stir in the vanilla.
Work the butter into the mixture until it forms a ball.
Shape the dough into 24 patties; places on a cookie sheet; and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes, or until the cookies are delicately brown.
Lift off the cookine sheet; cool slightly on wire racks; then dust thickly with confectioner's sugar.

These are excellent and interesting enough, the recipe reminds me a lot of Russian Cookies (google it and you will be surprised) - maybe this recipe has been given by Trotsky when he lived in Mexico and got adopted there - hahahaha!
