this is a recipe for coconut cream cheese frosting from Southern Living .. it can be used on the lemon coconut cake...
Ingredients
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 (16-ounce) package powdered sugar, sifted shopping list
- 1 (7-ounce) can flaked coconut shopping list
How to make it
- Beat cream cheese and butter at medium speed of an electric mixer until creamy. Add vanilla, beating well. Gradually add sugar, beating until smooth. Stir in coconut.
