How to make it

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
  • 2. In a mixing bowl, beat together maple syrup, sugar, eggs, melted butter and
  • vanilla with an electric mixer until slightly thickened, about 2 or 3 minutes.
  • Stir in chopped pecans and pour the mixture into the prepared pie shell.
  • Bake for 55 to 60 minutes or until a knife poked into the center of the filling comes out clean.
  • 3. Let cool completely
