Maple Pecan Pie Deluxe

- * 1 cup (250 mL) maple syrup shopping list
- * 2/3 cup (150 mL) sugar shopping list
- * 3 eggs shopping list
- * 1/4 cup (50 mL) melted butter shopping list
- * 1 tsp. (5 mL) vanilla shopping list
- * 1 cup (250 mL) coarsely chopped pecans shopping list
- * 1 9-inch (23-cm) purchased or homemade pie shell, unbaked shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
- 2. In a mixing bowl, beat together maple syrup, sugar, eggs, melted butter and
- vanilla with an electric mixer until slightly thickened, about 2 or 3 minutes.
- Stir in chopped pecans and pour the mixture into the prepared pie shell.
- Bake for 55 to 60 minutes or until a knife poked into the center of the filling comes out clean.
- 3. Let cool completely
