Chocolate Chip Bar Cookies

This will serve 36 if you eat just one. Who can do that?
Ingredients
- 1 c. shortening shopping list
- 1 c. + 2 Tbsps. sugar shopping list
- 3/4 c. brown sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 2 Tbsps. water shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 2 c. + 4 Tbsps. flour shopping list
- 1 tsp. baking soda shopping list
- 1 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips shopping list
- 1 c. chopped nuts shopping list
How to make it
- Combine shortening, sugars, vanilla, water and eggs.
- Beat until creamy.
- Add flour, baking soda and salt and stir till well belended.
- Add chocolate chips and nuts.
- Bake on cookie sheet 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1, 375 for 20-25 minutes or till lightly browned. Makes about 36.
