Ingredients

How to make it

  • Shuck corn
  • with sharp knife cut kernels from ears (about 1/4 deep)
  • scrape mik from corn ears both ways
  • set aside in bowl
  • pan fry bacon in a cast iron skillet, rendering drippings
  • remove crisp bacon and set aside
  • add a little oil to hot pan with drippings
  • add corn and crumbled bacon
  • fry over medium heat about 15 minutes
  • add butter and continue to cook to desired doneness.
  • May add chopped onions, green peppers, etc to taste
  • YUM!
