How to make it

  • Fry sausage in butter until brown; add salt and pepper.
  • Mix 2/3 cup milk and the flour together; set astde.
  • Add 1 1/3 cups milk to the sausage and heat to just under a boil.
  • Add the milk and flour mixture; stir until thickened.
  • Serve hot over biscuits. Refrigerate leftovers.
