German Style Potato Salad

Lemon zest adds the perfect kick to this standard German dish.
Ingredients
- 1.2 Lbs. potatoes shopping list
- 1 onion shopping list
- 5 Slices of bacon shopping list
- 1 lemon shopping list
- 1 Cup beef broth shopping list
- 1 TSP mustard shopping list
- 1 Bunch of chives shopping list
- 4 TBS of dried parsley or use fresh shopping list
- 3 TBS oil shopping list
- 5 TBS white wine vinegar shopping list
- salt shopping list
- pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Peel potatoes and cut in slices
- Boil potatoes with a dash of salt
- Drain and place in large bowl
- Dice onion very good
- Fry bacon almost crispy
- Remove bacon from pan, turn off heat and add onions
- Onions should cook enough in pan without more heat
- Add onions to the potatoes
- Pour boiling beef broth over potatoes and onions
- Chop bacon very fine
- Mix bacon, vinegar, oil, mustard, bacon and herbs and spices in a small bowl
- Add mixture to potatoes
- Zest lemon over potato salad and squeeze juice into salad
- Turn salad very good and adjust flavor with salt and pepper
- Serve!
