Celery salad with cheese and walnuts

A wonderfull salad from Germany ( Bayern).
Ingredients
- 300 gr of celery tuber . shopping list
- juice of 1 lemon. shopping list
- 200 gr celery leaves chopped. shopping list
- 300 gruyere cheese. shopping list
- 2 sour apples. shopping list
- 150 gr crushed. shopping list
- 2 tbs hot mustard. shopping list
- 4 tb s whiping cream. shopping list
- 2 tbs mayonaise. shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste. shopping list
How to make it
- Peel celery tuber and cut in thin 1/2 cm slices, cook in boiling water with lemon juice 5 min, rinse with cold water, drain and let cool.
- Peel apples take core and seeds out and cut in thin 1/2 cm slices.
- Cut cheese in thin 1/2 cm slices.
- Roast walnuts dry in a frying pan and let cool.
- Mix mustard,mayonaise and whipping cream, add celery, apple, cheese, mustard and celery leaves ( keep 2 tbs aside), mix well, taste with salt and pepper.
- Put 3 hours in the fridge.
- Top with roasted walnuts and celery leaves ( 2 tbs).
